I get confused at times with the love-hate relationship between my daughters. The switch between hugging to fighting is dramaticly quick. I don't remember hitting my sisters. Is this somethng kids learn? Could it be Instinct?

AM ACTULLY LOOKING FOR ADVICE FOR MY MOTHER HER 15 YEAR OLD SON IS IN AND OUT OF TROUBLE WITH THE POLICE RECENTLY THE POLICE ARRESTED MY BROTHER AND CHANGED HIS BAIL ADRESSTO A YOUNG 18 YEAR OLD BOYS HOUSE WITH OUT MY PARENTS PERMISSON A WAS WONDERING WERE ABOUTS SHE CAN GO FOR ADVICE ON THIS AS THESE PEOPLE ARE ONLY CHILDREN THEM SELFS AND THEY HAVE MY 15 YEAR OLD BROTHER LIVING WITH THEM AND THE POLICE ARE JUST KEEP PASSING HER BACK AND FORWARDS

I had great difficulty finding proper fitted shoes for my two children. My youngest has very narrow feet and my oldest has very wide feet! I had tried everywhere (or so i thought) Clarks had shoes to fit but of a very poor quality, precious soles very unhelpful, russell and bromley have no idea what they are doing!

im actually lookin for advice my son has just turned 12 and since starting high school has changed dramaticly he has no interest in school even though hes in the top class in his year i cant talk to him anymore without it turning into an argument what should i do?

Well I think adoption/fostering is a very good idea. if you cant have kids then you can do this. i think im going to adopt or have foster kids

This advice is for parents with special needs children. I recently read a short composition called "Welcome to Holland", which was written by a mother of a child w/ special needs. It makes an excellent analogy, and helps put things into perspective. I had heard of it, and found it on the web by googling the title.

That's tough. But I would guess that your former partner would want what's best for the child. If you have a good relationship, talk to the partner and see what might work. Emphasise that this is for the good of the child, and not to get back together or stay in touch with the partner. See what your partner says. My heart is with you. Good luck!

Nobody is happy being a jerk (well, ALMOST nobody!). Your children will not be happy if you let them run amok, although they may not have the self-control yet to control themselves. They will feel safe knowing that you will not permit them to behave badly.

Asking advice - recenting ended relationship. 8 year old child belonging to ex partner. Phoning me and so wanting to stay in touch. Love her to bits and not quite sure how to proceed without being clingy!
